SPANAWAY, Wash. -- A toddler drowned after wandering away from home and falling into Spanaway lake Tuesday night, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies are still investigating the incident, but said somehow the 21-month-old boy got out of the house.
His 9-year-old brother found the child in the lake.
A neighbor administered CPR but the child later died at St. Claire Hospital in Lakewood.
