SEATTLE --  When the headliner at Hard Rock Cafe is a 13-year old boy and rock star Duff McKagan is willing to play by his side, you can bet there's more to the story.

"Simone is just a cool kid, he is cooler than most." said McKagan, former bassist for Guns N' Roses. "It’s not about me or any grown ups."

It was a night about Simone Capelli made possible thanks to the Make-a-Wish foundation.

"Tonight is about making him feel like a rock star," said Wish Manager, Jessie Elenbaas.

The Make-a-Wish foundation took notice of Capelli because of his battle with bone cancer.

"He is very fragile right now, but his prognosis is good. He is getting better," said Elenbaas. "I hope this night helps cushion what he's been going through."

Tuesday night at the Hard Rock Cafe, volunteers rolled out the red carpet. Capelli arrived with his best friend in a limo. They walked through the doors of the venue and right up to the stage.

"This is his set list. Everything he knows how play, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, ACDC, Nirvana," said Elenbaas.

McKagan and musicians from Seattle band Rewind joined Capelli to play to a packed house.

"Music is that universal language," said McKagan.

Music is how they communicated since Capelli barely speaks English. The 13-year-old from Italy was flown to Seattle so he could have his rock-and-roll dream come true.

Make-A-Wish is an international foundation, and the branch in Italy called on Make-A-Wish in Seattle to help create this special night, according to Elenbaas.
