PORTLAND – A serial killing suspect is now charged in the deaths of three Portland women.

In late July 2012, Portland police said 63-year-old Jeffrey Paul Cutlip was living in Brownsville, Texas when he called police to confess his involvement in multiple murders. He was arrested and extradited to Portland on August 16.

The new charges came Monday when Cutlip was indicted in the death of 33 year old Nielene Doll whose body was found off Southeast Bull Run Road in rural Clackamas County in July of 1993. She had been reported missing earlier in the month.

Cutlip previously was indicted on two counts of aggravated murder and nine counts of murder in connection with the deaths of 44-year-old Marlene Claire Carlson in 1975 and 15-year-old Julie Marie Bennett in 1977.

Carlson was found strangled in her Portland apartment on Southwest 15th Avenue in 1975. Bennett disappeared on April 4, 1977 and was found dead two days later in Johnson Creek.

Police continue investigating all three murder cases plus they're look for information from the public concerning any more crimes that may be tied to Cutlip.
