After two years of pleading online, a Bothell man convinced Billy Idol to sing at his birthday party.
"His dream is for me, Billy Idol, to come to your beautiful city, Seattle, Washington, to perform at his birthday party," Idol said in a released video.
So the 1980s punk rock icon granted Michael Henrichsen's birthday wish and will be coming to Seattle for a show in October.
"I'm in shock right now - I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING!," Henrichsen posted on his website, PlayMyBirthdayBillyidol.com. "It's a public show and it's going to be the Best BDAY Party EVER!"
Idol will perform an 8 p.m. show on Friday, October 26, at the Showbox SODO in Seattle. Advanced tickets are $40.
