The person who started the "Bellingham Costco needs a special time just for Americans" Facebook group is getting a lot of flak from both sides of the border.
Public posts have been eliminated and previous posts are hidden, except for from the adminstrator:
"Some of you Americans should be ashamed of yourselves with the really bad things you have said, along with you Canadians saying some way off topic very hatefull (sic) things," he wrote.
The page's popularity spiked following a recent news story about Canadian residents shopping at Bellingham's Costco. It includes cell phone video of shoppers filling their carts with an entire pallete of milk jugs in a matter of seconds.
The adminitrator claims the page was shut down because of "ignorant press/canadian/american negative connotations."
Another post went up Friday morning asking fans to listen to a phone interview he did on a local radio program.
