A public memorial service for KOMO-TV anchor Kathi Goertzen will be held Sunday afternoon in Seattle.
The service will begin at 1 p.m. at Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
KOMO reports seating will be limited mainly to family, friends and co-workers. There will be an audio feed of the service outside and the public can sit in the nearby grassy area to listen. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
Goertzen died Monday after a 14-year battle with benign brain tumors. She was 54.
