BOISE -- A Boise firefighter has died after an ATV accident in Elmore County.
Vance Baldwin, 52, died last Friday.
Baldwin worked for the Boise Fire Department for 19 years, and he also served as a volunteer for the Pine-Featherville Volunteer Ambulance District.
The accident happened when Baldwin was on his way to the ambulance station in response to a medical call. His body was found later by family members after they received word he failed to arrive at the ambulance station.
A private memorial service is planned for August 3.
