A Joint Base Lewis-McChord Stryker was killed Wednesday in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense said Spc. Sterling W. Wyatt, 21, of Columbia, Mo., died in Kandahar province when a bomb exploded next to his vehicle.
Wyatt was assigned to the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division.
