President Obama arrived at Boeing Field just before noon Thursday to attend two fundraisers in Seattle.

With Wednesday’s announcement that he supports gay marriage, the president's visit is garnering a lot more attention than it would have otherwise.

The president's first stop will be a $35,800-per-couple brunch at the Madrona home of Ann and Bruce Blume.

Bruce works in commercial real estate, and Ann works for a non-profit. They have been longtime Democratic donors.

Later the president will travel to the Paramount Theatre for another fundraiser. This one is $1,000 ticket for general admission, and $5,000 for a photo reception with Mr. Obama. Well-known Seattle musician Dave Matthews will perform during the event.

Expect traffic tie-ups as the president's motorcade moves about. If you ride Metro, the Convention Place station in the transit tunnel will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You should plan to get off and on buses at the four other tunnel stations.
