BOISE -- Police say 15 year-old Hanah Hepworth from Boise was found safe at the home of a friend around 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Hepworth's parents reported her missing on Tuesday afternoon when she didn't return home from school.
According to officers who found Hepworth, the teen said she decided to hide at a friend's home near Settler and Westminster Streets in Boise.
Police say they were able to find her on a tip from another teen who knew where Hepworth was hiding out.
Hepworth is now being questioned by a school resource officer, and it's believed she won't face any legal consequences for running away.
Boise Police would not comment on any other details of the case at this time.
