SEATTLE – A Pierce County corrections officer is charged with bigamy and prosecutors say his two wives learned about his alleged cheating ways thanks to Facebook.

The News Tribune reports Alan O’Neill, 41, married his first wife in 2001 under the name Alan Fulk. He allegedly moved out in 2009, but they never got divorced.

Prosecutors say Fulk changed his name to O’Neill last December and married his second wife.

The first wife allegedly learned about the second wife when Facebook recommended the two women become “friends.”

O’Neill is reportedly on unpaid administrative leave while facing the felony charge.
