BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- A southwestern Illinois man is accused of pummeling his cousin with a golf club.
Prosecutors in St. Clair County have charged 25-year-old Darren Moore of Fairview Heights with aggravated battery.
Police say the 33-year-old alleged victim told police Moore wacked him on the head with a golf club. The cousin alleges Moore then repeatedly hit him as he was on the ground.
The cousin was treated at a hospital.
Online court records don’t show whether Moore has an attorney. Moore does not have a listed home phone number.
