Deadly shooting cancels Sacramento New Year's fireworks

SACREMENTO, Calif. -- New Year’s Eve celebrations were canceled in Sacramento following a deadly shooting.

At least two people were killed, and three more were injured.

40,000 people, including families with young children, were in the area to watch the City’s annual fireworks display when the shooting broke out just after 9:30 p.m.

Police still do not know what led to the shooting.
