CHICAGO -- Should babies be allowed in high-end eateries?

That question has been making the rounds since chef Grant Achatz tweeted about a crying baby at Chicago's Alinea restaurant Saturday night.

The upscale restaurant sells non-refundable tickets, sometimes months in advance, and a couple brought in an 8-month-old baby after the sitter canceled at the last minute, according to WMAQ in Chicago.

People immediately responded via social media, mostly criticizing the couple for bringing their baby into the restaurant.

A fake Twitter account was created for the baby, who "likes fine food, fine drinks and crying," according to the profile.
