SAN DIEGO (AP) — Another woman is publicly identifying herself as a target of San Diego Mayor Bob Filner's advances, saying he patted her buttocks when he was a congressman in 2005.
Laura Fink told KPBS in an interview airing Tuesday that a dinner attendee told Filner that his deputy campaign manager was working her tail off. Filner allegedly told her to turn around, patted her, laughed, and said, "No, it's still there!"
Fink wrote Filner at the time to ask that he apologize for "totally unacceptable" behavior, according to her email posted on KPBS' website. She told KPBS that Filner told her he was sorry but never wrote back.
A Filner spokeswoman didn't answer phone calls or immediately respond to an email seeking comment.
