NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) — Police say a woman found drowned in a southern Indiana creek with her son and daughter had killed the children and believed her family was being stalked by "demonic presences."
The body of 35-year-old Jaime Clutter was found in March, along with the bodies of her 10-year-old son, Brandon, and 6-month-old daughter, Katelyn. The naked bodies were recovered in a park in New Albany, less than a mile from where the family.
New Albany Police Chief Sherri Knight said during a news conference Friday that authorities don't know whether Clutter killed herself or downed by accident. Knight says hypothermia was a significant contributing factor. Knight added that Clutter thought she and her children were being stalked by "demonic presences."
New Albany is about 5 miles from Louisville, Ky.
