RAYMOND, Wash. (AP) — The Port of Willapa Harbor is ready to lease buildings at an old log yard in Raymond for a large-scale marijuana growing operation.
The port manager and mayor told The Olympian (http://bit.ly/XZrBBu) they hope the operation would bring 30 to 40 jobs to the community.
The lease depends on Marcus Charles obtaining a growing license from the state Liquor Control Board and it's still writing the rules.
