BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — Janitors and repair crews worked Sunday at Wade King Elementary in Bellingham, cleaning up powder from 30 fire extinguishers that were discharged by vandals.
KOMO reports (http://bit.ly/119dyw4) the district is offering a $1,000 reward to catch and convict whoever is responsible for the damage that took place Saturday night or early Sunday.
The school is open Monday and says the powder that was sprayed from the fire extinguishers is not hazardous.
