NINE MILE FALLS, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says 72-year-old Jonina Lorene Flyckt of Nine Mile Falls was killed Tuesday night when the car in which she was riding collided head-on with a car driven by a 17-year-old on a Stevens County road.
The Spokesman-Review reports (http://bit.ly/ZfYu9j ) 17-year-old Justin Price of Deer Park had swerved to avoid hitting a car driven by his sister that had broken down about six miles north of Nine Mile Falls.
The driver of the other car, 73-year-old Gary Leroy Flyckt, was taken to a Spokane hospital in stable condition
