SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Homeless people who have been camping under an Interstate 90 viaduct in downtown Spokane are facing a Friday afternoon deadline to move on.
Police handed out 24-hour notices Thursday to pack up their tents.
KREM reports (http://bit.ly/13nivzg ) social workers are helping the homeless find temporary housing. But those who don't comply with the city's new policy could be arrested.
