SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Caterpillar executives and local officials celebrated the heavy equipment company's parts distribution center at Spokane Thursday with a ribbon cutting.
The warehouse has been operating since August with about 150 employees.
The Spokesman-Review reports (http://bit.ly/13nj8bP ) the site's primary customers are mining companies in the United States and Canada.
Manager Brad Gile says an emergency part order can be delivered to Spokane's airport in 90 minutes.
