VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Vancouver police say the return of a stolen bike with a note of apology won't let the thief off the hook. Officers still hope to make an arrest.
The tandem bike was taken Monday from a front porch, but it was dropped off by a man Wednesday with a note saying he was sorry.
The Columbian reports (http://bit.ly/RHN0gD ) the note asks for forgiveness and is signed "Guilty."
