GRANDVIEW, Wash. (AP) — Benton County sheriff's officers say two teenage boys have died and a third is hospitalized after a one-car crash Tuesday evening about three miles north of Grandview, Wash.
KNDU-TV reports one boy died at the scene and another at a Richland hospital.
Officers say the driver veered off the road and into some trees. Sheriff's Lt. Chuck Jones tells the Tri-City Herald that speed may have been a factor.
All three reportedly were students at Grandview High School.
Grandview is west of the Tri-Cities in south-central Washington.
