OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — A consultant's report says it would cost more than $124 million to renovate the 55-year-old General Administration building near the Capitol in Olympia.
That's $34 million more than previously estimated and just $37 million less than the estimated cost of replacing the building.
The Olympian reports (http://is.gd/VSsPqM) local lawmakers say it's time to start planning a new facility.
The General Administration building houses the Washington State Patrol and other state offices.
