OKANOGAN, Wash. (AP) — Okanogan County elections department workers are preparing for a manual recount in a tight County Commission contest.
The election was certified Tuesday with two-term incumbent Commissioner Bud Hofer trailing challenger Ray Campbell by just 10 votes.
Elections supervisor Mila Jury told KPQ (http://is.gd/ADXCb2) the automatic recount is the first recount in the county since the 2004 governor's race.
