UNDATED (AP) — Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan says four years should have been enough time to fix the economy.

In a series of TV interviews today, the Wisconsin congressman said with millions struggling to find work, it's too late for President Barack Obama to ask people "just to be patient with him."

In Ryan's words, "Four years into a presidency and it's incomplete?"

After a campaign rally today in Ohio, Ryan is starting a two-day campaign swing through Iowa while Mitt Romney spends the day in Vermont. He'll be at the home of former Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Kerry Healey preparing for the fall presidential debates.
