HOLLYWOOD -- The second installment of the Twilight saga, New Moon, hits theaters Friday. The smash hit vampire themed movies are set in Forks, Washington and has been a hit worldwide.
And it's the same story in Spokane as fans count down to the midnight showing. At AMC in downtown Spokane, it is the biggest pre-sale of tickets they have seen. They sold 1,600 tickets by 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon. They also sold out all three screens for the midnight showing.
The Valley Mall and NorthTown Mall theaters have another 16 screens showing the movie. They said they were sold out days ago.
