Student injured in Freeman HS shooting visits firefighters who treated her

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – One of the teenagers hurt in a shooting at Freeman High school that left one student dead and three others hurt visited Spokane County Fire District 8 over the weekend to thank them.

Gracie was one of the three students hurt in the September shooting.

SCFD 8 posted a photo on Facebook with the following statement:

“We had an exceptional visitor come by SCFD 8 Station 82 in Valleyford this weekend. Gracie is one of the students injured during the Freeman shooting. She is an amazing young woman who came to the fire station with her family to visit with Lieutenant Nate H., Firefighter Paramedic Amanda A. and Part time Firefighter Matt M. who were some of the firefighters providing care to Gracie. We are all so happy to hear that she is recovering well and hope for many more visits!”
