Wildfire under control in North Idaho

BLANCHARD, Idaho -- Firefighters have called in air tankers and a helicopter to drop water on a ten acre wildfire near Blanchard, Idaho. The fire started around 12:30pm Wednesday along Redneck Lane, off Highway 41.

A wildfire is burning near Blanchard, ID.
The fire burned within 100 yards of a home. However, several homeowners jumped on their tractors and grabbed rakes and garden hoses to help control the flames.
Officials believe the fire started near a bark mill..
