Car theft suspect on the loose

SPOKANE—Police are searching for 29-year-old Joseph Bercier who is wanted on multiple charges including firest degree robbery.

Joseph Bercier is wanted by the Spokane police for allegedly stealing a car, attempted murder, and robbery charges.
Police say Bercier was driving a stolen car Thursday.
Authorities spotted the stolen Acura with Illinois license plates Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but it sped away.
The same Acura was later dumped in the area of Queen and Crestline. .
Police tried to track Bercier using the K9 unit but where unsuccessful.
Bercier is also wanted on charges for conspiracy to commit first degree robbery. That charge stems from a July 5th shooting on East Illinois.
If you know where he is call 911, but do not contact him. Police say Bercier is considered armed and dangerous.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $250 reward for information leading to Bercier's arrest.
