Gonzaga forward Austin Daye had 17 points and 9 rebounds in this Feb. 29, 2008 game against Pepperdine. Daye's status for the 2008-09 season is not known after he sustained a knee injury at the LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron, Ohio.

The Spokesman-Review reports the 6-foot-10 Daye suffered a partially torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

The injury places Daye's status for the 2008-09 season in limbo.

Daye average 10.5 points and 4.7 rebounds as a freshman. He was selected to the West Coast Conference's All-Freshman Team and was honorable mention All-WCC.
