$17K worth of cigarettes stolen

SPOKANE VALLEY -- Spokane Valley Police arrest a man they believe broke into a valley convenience store and stole $17,000 dollars worth of cigarettes.
It happened at the Superstore 24 on Pines.

$17,000 worth of smokes stolen from Spokane Valley store.
Police say the suspect cut the phone and cable lines to deactivate the alarm system, broke the glass on the front door and stole almost 400 cartons of cigarettes.
Police caught the suspect after employees at the nearby storage complex recognized him on their surveillance camera.
He was renting one of their units and tried to steal two of their surveillance cameras during the caper.
