Head-on crash injures three near Loon Lake

LOON LAKE, Wash. -- Three people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash along Highway 292 near Loon Lake, Washington at approximately 4:30 p.m.

One of the cars involved in a head-on crash along Highway 292.
Investigators say it appears a red sedan crossed the center line and slammed head-on into a silver car at Highway 292 and Colville Road.
Two people had to be cut out of the wreckage and taken to the hospital.
One of the victims was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane by helicopter.
