SPOKANE -- If you think gas prices are high now, so did most drivers five years ago when regular unleaded cost $1.59 a gallon.

At $1.59 a gallon, drivers said gas was too much.

Though gas prices have changed, what people have to say about them remains the same.

In November of 2003, one driver complained it cost her $15 to fill her tank when it use to cost $10. The next year, another driver was shocked it cost him $50 total to fill his two cars. That's when gas was at $1.85 a gallon.
