COEUR D'ALENE -- KREM 2 News has obtained the 911 calls made by friends an Athol, Idaho man killed Wednesday in a snowmobiling accident.
One of those men hiked four miles just to get cell phone reception.
You can hear their frustration as they plead with dispatchers to get help.
Dispatch:"They're coming, they're less than five minutes out. Just stay there."
63-year-old Nick Fiorovich was riding a snowmobile near 4th of July Pass when he rolled down a hillside.
Fiorovich lost consciousness and his friends spent the next two hours performing CPR. However, he could not be revived.
Rescuers hoped to use a helicopter to transport Fiorovich to the hospital, but light snow has made visibility too low for the chopper to fly.
