Police nail drivers trying to slip past oncoming trains

SPOKANE VALLEY -- Law enforcement across Spokane County were busy pulling drivers over Thursday for ignoring railroad warnings.

KREM 2 News hopped aboard a train with officers in the area of Park and Trent in Spokane Valley.
Train engineers are working with officers to help catch violators.
Any cars, bicyclists, or pedestrians who try to cut in front of trains or train-crossing signals could be fined up to $124.
