COEUR D' ALENE -- A fire overnight drove a Coeur d' Alene family from their house early Thursday.
KREM 2
A fire at a house in Coeur d' Alene started when a chimney got too hot and ignited insulation.
The house at 1260 E. Milton suffered minor damage in the fire.
Fire crews said a wall surrounding a chimney heated to the point of causing some insulation to smolder in the attic, which produced more smoke than flames.
