Officers found Danny Wortham dead Sunday afternoon. Police say he was hit with a wrench and baseball bat before being stabbed with a sword.

Detectives say during the interview, both confessed to planning the murder. Both face one charge each of first degree murder.

Police say Washington stabbed the victim and hit him with the wrench. It's believed Wortham hit her father once with the bat.

Jackie Wortham and Edmund Washington will face 1st degree murder charges.

A motive for the murder is unknown. However, court records show Jackie Wortham was just arrested for shoplifting last week and has a history of running away from home. Police say Wortham's father had also recently learned his daughter was pregnant.
