COLFAX, Wash. -- A crop duster pilot walked away uninjured, after crashing his plane on Highway 26 in Whitman County near the Fairgrounds.

Crop duster plane crashed Saturday morning in Whitman County.
It happened around 9:30 Saturday morning. The pilot was flying solo.
Officals on the scene tell us the pilot hit a wind pocket, which forced the plane down into the power lines. The FAA says since the accident was wind related and this was an experienced pilot, they're not going to investigate.
The plane took down those power lines, so police had to close a couple miles of the highway in both directions for about an hour.
They also say some fuel was leaking from the plane, but those chemicals have been contained.
