07:37 PM PST on Monday, February 11, 2008
ROCKFORD, WA. -- An ice jam is backing up part of Rock Creek in Rockford.

The huge chunks of ice are getting stuck under a bridge, and causing water to back up behind it.
So far, flooding hasn't been a problem. It was feared that warmer temperatures over the weekend would cause ice and snow to melt, and flood the Washington and Idaho Palouse.
But warmer temperatures aren't going away. This week, highs will still be in the 40's, but lows over night will be around the freezing level.
