WEST PLAINS—Spokane County firefighters are investigating an early morning garage fire west of Spokane.

The fire began around 3 a.m. near Rambo Road and Janes Lane.

The two car detached garage is a total loss.

Flames destroyed a garage west of Spokane Monday morning.

When crews arrived on the scene the garage was engulfed in flames.

However they were able to contain the fire before it spread to a home. The door of that home was slightly charred by flames.

Nobody was hurt in the fire. The homeowners were awakened by a barking dog. That’s when they spotted the flames and called for help.
