SPOKANE--Homeless shelters are having a hard time keeping up with the demand for clothing and shelter in Spokane.
The recent cold snap has caught many homeless people by surprise and some say that they don't have coats or a place to go at night. Homeless shelters have a limited number of beds, and as the temperatures drop the shelters fill up.
