SPOKANE -- A person of interest has been arrested in a Spokane Valley murder case. KREM 2 News got a copy of the video that shows 42-year-old David Brewczynski as he leaves a convenience store and is immediately bombarded by armed police.

Report: Three day sting led up to arrest

Brewczynski is being questioned about the murder of 80-year-old Kenneth Cross on Sept. 20th.

Brewczynski was arrested at a convenience store this afternoon near Francis and Pittsburg in North Spokane by Spokane Co. Sheriff's detectives and members of the Eastern Washington fugitive task force.

Investigators tell KREM 2 News they followed Brewczynski for three days before making the arrest.

Cross was found beaten and shot to death in his home on the 11000 block of East Boone. Investigators believe the murder started as a burglary.
