Bonner Co. man charged with beating newborn

SANDPOINT, Idaho -- A Ponderay, Idaho man faces charges of felony injury to a child after police say he beat his one-month-old baby.
Investigators say 25-year-old Bobby Adams fractured the boy's skull and caused bleeding in the baby's eye. He's being held in the Bonner County Jail on $100,000 bond. The abuse happened August 17th, while the baby's mother was at the store, according to police.
Dominik Adams, who was born July 15th, is now at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
KREM 2 News has learned Adams has a history of child abuse. In 2003, he was charged with 3rd degree assault of a child in Kitsap County, Washington.
