Semi snags phone lines

NORTH SPOKANE—Drivers heading north on Division could encounter some lane restrictions.
Spokane police closed several lanes near the intersection of Division and Magnesium Saturday afternoon.
Police say a semi heading northbound snagged some low lying phone lines causing a utility pole to fall.
Despite the downed pole police say the driver left the scene.

Qwest is working to repair downed phone lines in North Spokane.
Police gave the driver a citation for improper lane usages.
Police are investigating the crash and could charge the driver with hit and run for leaving the scene.
