Flames destroy North Spokane home

NORTH SPOKANE— Firefighters are investigating what caused a house fire Friday morning in Spokane.

Firefighters are looking into what caused a Friday morning fire.
The fire was spotted 3 a.m. at a home near Whitehouse and Dalke, just a few blocks northwest of Northtown Mall.
Crews found heavy flames in the front of the home when they arrived on scene.
Officials estimate it took about 10 minutes to contain the fire. The home is a complete loss.
There was woman inside at the time of the fire. Officials say she is okay, and the Red Cross is helping to find her housing.
