Firefighters estimate the size of the Nine Mile Bridge fire at 95 acres, and it's 25% contained. Firefighters have been able to draw a line around it and say it is no longer spreading.
The fire is burning north of the Sheep Creek campground. About 125 firefighters are on scene from all over Northeastern Washington to help put it out.
No homes are in danger, though firefighters say they are concerned about winds fanning the flames farther.
Several dozers are working to create a line around the fire, while heavy air tankers drop water from above.
