SPOKANE - Three teams consisting of National Guard members and Spokane Public Schools staff are working throughout the district today to ready district sites for students and staff to return to school.

Team one is now working at Grant Elementary, then Sheridan Elementary and Holmes Elementary.

Team two will soon be working at Longfellow Elementary, then move to Arlington Elementary and Ridgeview Elementary.

Team three will soon move to Logan Elementary, Stevens Elementary and Regal Elementary.

The teams expect to spend between 60-90 minutes at each site, and plan to finish by 2:30 or 3 p.m.

The objective will be to clear snow from sidewalks, with a focus on removing snow from intersections adjacent to the school campus and to clear snow berms at crossing guard intersections.
