Two teens arrested in connection to Eagle Ridge vandalism

SPOKANE, Wash. – Two teens were arrested for allegedly vandalizing the Eagle Ridge neighborhood early Monday morning.

Spokane Police said multiple homes under construction in the neighborhood, specifically the Forest Ridge Park area, were maliciously damaged.

Astute residents provided SPD with key information which helped officers identify multiple suspects. Two 16-year-old males were arrested for second-degree malicious mischief. Additional charges and arrests are possible.

Police thanked neighbors saying, “Without the assistance of citizens reporting their observations, solving this case and holding the individuals accountable would not have been possible. This is another great example of citizens being the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Police Department.”

Anyone with additional information on the incident, or any additional victims, is asked to call Crime check at 509-456-2233.
