Spokane Police arrest armed suspect who fled from traffic stop

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Police arrested a suspect who fled from a traffic stop Sunday afternoon on the lower South Hill.

Officials said they tried to stop the suspect on a motorcycle near Hartson and Napa. Authorities told people in the area to stay in their homes because they believed he was armed with a gun.

Officers tracked the suspect to the area of 6th and Magnolia where he was found hiding behind a house. According to officials, officers located the gun.
